Animal lovers can pick up a copy of the SPCA?s Animal Calendar for 2006 and help support the ongoing efforts of the organisation.
The desk-size calendars feature local pets from across the Island in black and white photos and can be bought for $7.50.
Animal lovers can pick up a copy of the SPCA?s Animal Calendar for 2006 and help support the ongoing efforts of the organisation.
The desk-size calendars feature local pets from across the Island in black and white photos and can be bought for $7.50.
The theme of the calendar is ?Celebrating Animals? and the photos were taken by local animal owners.
A SPCA spokeswoman said the 12 photos were selected from 200 entries.
?Some entrants wrote about their beloved pets and it was heart warming for us to read these stories because it reminded us how much people love their animals and how they consider them to be members of the family. And this is how it should be,? the spokeswoman said.
There are 2,500 calendars for sale and they can be purchased from the SPCA offices at 32 Valley Road in Paget, Noah?s Ark, Animal and Garden House, All Wrapped Up, the Body Shop, Ettrick Animal Hospital and Get Animated in St. George?s.
